Our story began in 2014, when we provided childcare for volunteer camp counselors in Medford Lakes, NJ. It was a small but meaningful beginning that shaped our philosophy of care, connection, and appreciation for the natural world. What started as a service to support others soon grew into a home-based family childcare program in Philadelphia. Guided by a deep commitment to children and families, we continued to grow and evolve, eventually planting roots in Erie, Pennsylvania. Since 2019, we have proudly operated as a certified, licensed childcare facility, offering thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care to families in our community.
At My Terra Village, we combine play, observation, and individualized guidance to support each child’s unique path of growth and learning. From building early literacy and problem-solving skills to fostering empathy and confidence, our approach helps provide children with the strong school readiness skills they need for a successful transition into kindergarten. Here, children have the space and support to flourish in an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and like a true second home.
